Gros Manseng is a Basque grape variety that is now making a name for itself in Gascony in Southwest France. This wine is crisp yet complex, overlaid with a gorgeous acacia/pink grapefruit bouquet. On the palate there are hints of greengage and grapefruit, with a touch of lime, and a superb long, rich finish. It is excellent as an aperitif or with poultry or fish.
